On February 20, Our Aim Foundation health team conducted a clinic outreach program to Chiputu village. It is Located 15 km away from our Holistic Community Center in Tongozola, Traditional Authority Mkanda in Mchinji District, Malawi.

As a result of this visit 256 patients were provided treatment and free medication. Out of them 65% are below the age 15. The most prevalent diseases in the village are scabies, malaria and merozoite surface protein.

The chief of Chiputu village and the community members thanked the team for the services rendered and also for patience, selflessness and eagerness to aid the patients.

The United Nation Children Fund estimates that only 46% of the population of Malawi has access to formal health facility within a 5km radius, and only 20% of the population lives within 25km of a hospital.

Our Aim Foundation prioritizes equal health for all and, in order to achieve this, the medical teams travel up to 35km to help marginalized communities in morbid, unwholesome conditions.

Reaching out to the sick, some of whom cannot travel to nearest clinics or healthcare centers for medical treatment, is gratifying work.

Warm Regards,

Our Aim Foundation
